THE ORIGINAL
Specially designed, the X PROFILE tools, have been projected and patented by Corimag in 1996. These working tools are a special combination of raw ma
terial with a very high grade of purity and an hardening processes properly studied to achieve the best performances under the most demanding applications. The X PROFILE
helps the dust flush out from the area of impact, reducing the cutting effort and the temperature of the cutting edge.
It is mainly suitable to work on compact and dusty rocks.
The self-sharpening prerogative ensures long durability and excellent working conditions.

THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR TOUGH APPLICATIONS
Empowered special tools, designed to work on hard and abrasive rock.
The insert (core), made of a special tungsten alloy, has a hardness of over 60 HRC and is resistant to very high temperatures. The duration is certainly much longer than a standard tool, with some precautions. During the work, the wear of the insert is minimal, but we must consider that the steel that constitutes the external part of the tool has other characteristics of hardness and thermal resistance, so it is necessary to avoid the overheating the tool with long beating times, as a temperature over 500°C would cause problems to the softer part of the steel that holds the insert.
To obtain an optimal performance, working on very hard materials (800 Kg / sq.cm. and above), it is necessary to start the demolition with minimum portions and reduced beat times, which allow to have a good productivity (in relation to the hardness of the material), even if the operator need to be more careful and precise.
The tungsten part is always protruding from the rest of the working tool’s steel, which wears when in contact with the rock, so the tool is always sharpened, enabling the operator to reposition it in the best point of attack and allowing to concentrate all the hammer power on a reduced surface thus increasing the breaking factor.
